About Us

I started the Hoity Toity® brand 13 years ago at a time when I was looking for a way to opt out of being employed by somebody else. I was really keen to start my own business and given that my background was in fine art and graphic design, it was only natural that I returned to my inner creative source.

My little characters emerged right at the conception of the Hoity Toity® brand. They just kind of popped into my head sitting at the coffee table in a place I was renting with a friend in Coogee Beach in Sydney, overlooking the ocean. Since then the Hoity Toity® family has evolved and expanded and has taken on a life of its own.

Whilst designing and being creative is my first love, my other focus since the beginning of the Hoity Toity® brand has been to deliver quality products no matter what product I am creating or manufacturing. Whether it's the fabric I use, glassware, ceramics, printing, packaging or the many talented people that have helped put together my strange and varied product ranges over the years, I am always fussy about the quality. My hope is that this translates to you, the new owner, of my beloved little friends.
